Balfron High is a six-year, vibrant, high attaining comprehensive school serving a large rural catchment area in West Stirlingshire. The village of Balfron is situated 20 miles from Glasgow and Stirling; a beautiful commute from either direction.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Principal Teacher of Pupil Support. Rather than being linked to a department in the school, you will be responsible for coordination and delivery of elements of a bespoke curriculum for targeted young people.
The school is keen to appoint a teacher who is inclusive and firmly committed to working with young people who have barriers to accessing a fully mainstream curriculum. You will put children and their needs first. We are looking for someone who is positive, professional and passionate about inclusion and learning.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
