Processing Operator

Graham's the Family Dairy is seeking to recruit a Processing Operator at their site in Cowdenbeath. This is a permanent position working a three-shift pattern (day shift / back shift / night shift), 5 days over 7.

The purpose of the role is to control the intake and processing of milk and cream for Production.

Key responsibilities will include receipt of raw milk, pasteurising skim milk, sampling for quality assurance testing, pasteurising cream, processing cream & Ice cream products, handling bags of powder for mix additions, cleaning of plant and equipment before, during and after production and completion of all operational logs and data sheets.

Basic computer skills, numerical skills the ability to understand written instructions and ownership of responsibilities are required for this role.

Previous dairy and processing experience would be advantageous; however full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
