Production Operative

To assist and maintain the effective running of our production lines including planned Preventative Maintenance. To work in a safe, efficient and effective manner with the other members of the team.

PART TWO - Detailed Accountabilities

1. Operating Equipment/ Machinery

· Competently operate machinery/equipment within own area of operation.

· Competently conduct machine changes as instructed by your Line Manager.

· Follow weekly planned preventative maintenance (PPM) system as instructed by your Line Manager.

· As dictated by PPM system, carry out regular oiling and greasing of machinery/ equipment.

· Minimise downtime.

2. Product and Technical Knowledge

· Ensure knowledge of products manufactured within own area of operation.

· Ensure knowledge of products manufactured in other areas of the business.

3. Maintain effective communication with your Line Manager and within area of Operation.

·Liaise with you Line Manager on a regular basis raising any key issues and major developments promptly.

· Effectively communicate with fellow co-workers.

4.Ensure that all PPM documents are legible and effective records are kept at all times.

5. Adhoc Duties

· Any other duties, as demanded by the job role and as requested by your Line Manager as and when required.
