Project Cost Controller

An outstanding opportunity to join a business leading the way in what their sector offers. If you are successful in this role you will be responsible for creating month-end project financial reports, managing costs, and lending financial assistance to the projects to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of all assigned projects' cost control issues, including commitment and forecasting tracking of labour hours, purchases, and vessel operations; 
• Offer project managers guidance and assistance in managing their projects' finances.
• Ensure that SAP accurately reflects project costs and revenues to date, including accruals and prepayments. 
• Support project managers in creating monthly financial sensitivity analyses for their projects. 
• Analyse variances from as-bid financials by creating a thorough monthly analysis of variances from prior forecast. 
• Prepare month-end project reports and review them with the project manager. 
• Participate in client and project meetings and provide pertinent cost and financial input as needed.
