Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Northwest Scotland
Employment: Full-time, permanent

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client, a leading Civil Engineering Contractor. The ideal candidate will have previous experience overseeing the planning, design, construction, and delivery of Civil Engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Our client operates across a wide range of projects within the Infrastructure, Energy, and Utilities sectors, and they are currently expanding their team. They seek a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis in the Northwest of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) compliance on all projects.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Manage project budgets effectively.
  • Supervise site personnel and coordinate their activities.
  • Oversee the commercial aspects of projects.
  • Prepare reports and maintain meticulous records.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC-level education in a relevant civil engineering discipline.
  • Proven track record of managing diverse Civil Engineering projects.
  • Experience in renewable energy projects is advantageous.
  • SSE and substation experience is advantageous.
  • Extensive technical knowledge and control over all civil site activities.
  • Excellent proactive communication skills.
  • Possession of a full UK driver's license.
