We're seeking an experienced Project Manager for a renewable energy project in Argyll.  If you're experienced and looking for your next challenge, keep reading!

About the Company:  Contract Scotland are teaming up with a distinguished contractor renowned for its successful portfolio in civil engineering projects across the North Scotland. With a strong commitment to providing secure and diversified work, spanning both building and civil engineering realms, this partnership promises a rewarding journey.

Position Overview: In this role you will play an important part in the delivery of a large, long-term framework.  You will enjoy a supportive and collaborative working environment set up to ensure a focus on creativity and innovation with the ultimate aim of delivering quality solutions to their clients.  You will ensure all projects are efficiently and economically executed and all regulations are adhered to.  Due to the seniority and responsibility of the role you will have proven experience of managing various Civil Engineering projects with experience working on substation projects desired.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  •  
  • Liaising with existing and new clients.
  • Work with budgets.
  • Site personnel management.
  •  
  • Reports and record keeping.

 

Background and Experience Required:

  • Educated to a degree or HNC level in a relevant civil engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience of managing various Civil Engineering projects.
  • Renewable energy experience is advantageous.
  • Possess an extensive level of technical knowledge, understanding, control and responsibility for all civils site activities.
  • Be a pro-active communicator,
  • Full UK driver’s license.
