Project Manager - Transformation (fixed term) - ABS41248

Job Description

As part of a council wide transformation program, we are seeking Project Managers to drive forward the External Collaboration & Partnership and the Buildings & Estates workstreams.  

The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and leading an overall program of work, as directed by senior management, to achieve Council priorities and budget savings, ensuring seamless project management from inception to implementation.

The Transformation Project Managers will be responsible for leading the planning and development of activities to enhance service delivery. They will oversee the management and implementation of complex change management programs, ensuring effective change, project management, and communication across programs and workstreams. The roles involve delivering programs of work/projects to meet specified time, budget, and quality outcomes. Additionally, the Project Managers will facilitate effective partnership working, particularly by leading multidisciplinary working groups. They will engage stakeholders meaningfully throughout the change process and ensure effective stakeholder engagement. Drafting policy to implement agreed strategies and preparing reports and presentations as needed will be key responsibilities, as well as utilising Microsoft Office packages to support program activities.

The ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, along with proven experience in change management and program delivery. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills are essential, as well as strong time management abilities to handle multiple activities and meet challenging timescales.
