Project Worker

The senior project worker will support the service manager to develop the service delivery in line with strategic objectives, including national MAT standards. Develop a programme of activities from The Centre@ SWR working with partners to achieve this. Support with the production of contract monitoring reports. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, including at supervision, team meetings, and development days. Represent the organisation at strategic meetings. Be a key contact with Dundee Drug & Alcohol Service and other partners.

You should have a good understanding of the impact of substance use for individuals', families and communities affected. Excellent communication and IT skills, leadership qualities and the ability to be responsive in fast paced environment. Experience of mentoring/coaching junior staff including support their learning & development opportunities. A full driving licence and use of a car for work is essential for this post.

Dundee Drug & Alcohol Service provides support to people in Dundee affected by substance use, we provide a range of one-to-one, group and drop-in support. We collaborate closely with partners in health, social work and third sector to ensure that the service is delivered in line with Scottish Government and Dundee Alcohol & Drug Partnership strategic objectives to reduce drug deaths and harm.
