Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a teacher with specialist knowledge, and/or an interest in developing knowledge and experience in working with a neurodivergent pupil who has a demand avoidant profile. The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering an appropriate secondary curriculum for the pupil as well as providing additional support where required. They will work collaboratively with the principal teacher for support, subject teachers, and additional support needs assistants. This role may also include supporting the educational planning and inclusion of other children with a range of additional support needs.

Although based at Dunoon Grammar School, the teacher will be part of a team of pupil support teachers who work across the Cowal cluster schools. This is a fixed term contract for one year with the possibility of extension
