What the job is:

As Quality Assurance & Regulation Manager you will be responsible for leading and coordinating work to ensure that ICAS delivers on its obligations to regulators and other external /internal stakeholders in line with plans and timescales.

You will lead and play a crucial role in the preparation for regulatory audits and inspections and be a key contact during an audits/inspection, ensuring that the required documents presented and records from regulatory meetings are kept, and procedures updated accordingly. You will manage all escalated cases concerning Academic Integrity or student applications for Special Considerations and Extenuating Circumstances to resolution and take a lead role in the ongoing review of cases.

You will support and prepare reports for Learning Committees such as the Qualifications Board, Academic Panel, Academic Integrity & Appeals Advisory Panels and Special Considerations and Extenuating Circumstances Panel. 


Who do we need?

You must be able to work independently to plans, dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information, in a pressurised environment and meet tight deadlines, which can change at short notice. You will have strong interpersonal skills, effective in both verbal and written communication and be able to communicate in a professional manner with people of all levels. You must have the ability to work to set standards/awarding criteria, work individually and collaboratively with others, with an excellent attention to detail. The ability to remain unphased by the obligations to Regulators, some planned and some unplanned and working flexibly to meet the time sensitive nature of regulatory deliveries is also essential.

A proven track record of experience working within an educational regulatory/quality and assurance context and handling academic integrity cases is desirable. Experience of working in a project management environment would be an advantage.
