Full Job Description

Within the Technical and Safety Support Department at Hunterston B Power Station, this position is responsible for properly monitoring and executing the Quality Management standards and processes for safely defueling a nuclear power plant in accordance with all licences, regulating bodies, company business strategies and industry best practices. You'll need to have good leadership skills and be able to build strong and collaborative relationships with strong communication skills to succeed in this role.,

  • Providing a professional Quality Management support service, through a customer/client service in relevant aspects of Technical and Safety Support

  • Driving improvements in safety culture and ownership across the location

  • Liaising with internal and external organisations on all aspects of quality and safety related issues

  • Promoting a safety focus in all activities and responsibilities undertaken

  • Liaising with Fleet Managers and the fleet Quality Management Group Head Peer Group, to share best practice and to continually improve local and fleet performance.

    As a minimum, you'll be educated to HNC qualification standard, or equivalent. You should have proven experience of team building, technical knowledge and interpersonal and organisational skills.

    We can offer a competitive salary from £84,892 - £109,077 and you'll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Nuclear Generation Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.
