Our client, a reputable player in the industry, is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a permanent basis.  This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects in the energy, roads, and infrastructure sectors throughout Central Scotland.  Our client invites application from Graduate Quantity Surveyors.

About the Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in commercially managing multiple projects from tender through to final account. Working closely with the operational teams, you'll ensure accurate financial control systems are maintained and assist in securing labour, materials, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.  Key responsibilities include cost value reconciliations, contract variations, progress monitoring, and subcontractor management.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Experience in renewables, substations, wind farms, and infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in key cost-based software packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel when required.
