QUANTITY SURVEYOR POSITION

Established in 1998, KSNPM boast a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals experienced in quantity surveying, architectural design, project management and cost consultancy. We provide comprehensive, tailored advice to a wide range of clients and sectors.

 

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated quantity surveyor to join our rapidly expanding team based in Glasgow City Centre.

 

Role Description

The successful candidate will be expected to support and help drive forward out existing business in the UK. Your duties will involve all aspects of quantity surveying including budget estimating and cost planning. Pre and post contract experience is required, and government sector experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

The candidates we are looking for should have:-

 

·  A degree in Quantity Surveying (or similar) and being chartered is an advantage (RICS);

·  3-5 years post qualification experience;

·  Sound technical knowledge in all matters relating to Quantity Surveying;

·  Good interpersonal skills with an ability to present key data to clients;

·  An ambitious can-do attitude with a degree of flexibility to accommodate all responsibilities;

·  An attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving;

·  A demonstrable ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team;

·  Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise work on multiple and varied projects;

·  A sound working knowledge of cost management software;

·  A capability to take direction and posses excellent listening skills;

·  A full, clean UK driving license.
