  • Develop a close relationship with the site production teams and a detailed knowledge of your allocated sites by maintaining a visible site presence, ensuring all developments are visited regularly and attending site meetings as required.
  • Compile and process subcontractor payments, variation orders and dayworks.

  • Monitor payment / invoicing procedures and resolve any issues in conjunction with the finance department.
  • Carry out monthly valuations of site progress.
  • Complete a bi-monthly Cost & Value Reconciliation (CVR) for each development, prepare and present reporting information at the CVR meeting, explaining cost to date, estimated final cost, and all cost movements.
  • Identify and minimise any cost excesses and pursue and maximise any cost saving or value improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with contract conditions and manage any contractual queries or disputes with subcontractors.
  • Liaise with subcontractors in order to ensure sufficient resources are available and deployed in accordance with the production programme.
  • Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of contractor performance. Ensure that all specifications are complied with and that quality is not compromised.
  • Assist in Work in Progress (WIP) / cash flow forecasting.
  • Compile monthly valuations on relevant Partnership (Affordable) development.
  • Assist with closed site procedures including site adoption works and manage closed site cost provisions.
  • Work closely with the production and technical teams to promote and monitor site budget cost control throughout the development cycle.
  • Support the development of less-experienced members of the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all control procedures and deadlines.
