About The Role

We are looking to strengthen our Digital Engineering Team with a Regional CAD Lead based at Stepps office with hybrid working available.

You will report directly to the Head of Engineering and we are seeking an individual with a positive attitude, a passion for innovation, strong communication skills and willingness to learn and share with others.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Line Manager Duties

  • CAD resourcing for projects

  • Training and upskilling CAD staff

  • Assisting in delivering a strategy to ensure CAD quality and consistency regionally in line with national framework

  • Maintaining & developing CAD Standards

  • Work with others across the business such as national CAD manager, engineering lead & digital delivery lead

    Demonstrable experience of producing and managing CAD standards

  • Excellent leadership skills

  • Demonstrable experience in change management

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering training content

  • Knowledge of Autodesk products including Revit, AutoCAD (Plant 3D and PID), Navisworks, Civil 3D

  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 and experience of how it can be applied.

  • A passion for organising and maintaining data


  • Preferential:
  • Qualification in Engineering, or a related subject

  • Water Industry experience

  • Autodesk Construction Cloud knowledge

  • Bentley ProjectWise knowledge

  • Autodesk Forge awareness
