Registered Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our team of nurses within the Cardiology Department, in particular within interventional procedures. You should have a commitment to cardiology, patient centred care and supporting effective team working.

The Cardiac Catheter Lab is a vibrant and exciting place to work with opportunities to expand and develop knowledge in new procedures with a supportive training package. We are an ever developing department that provides cardiac services to patients across Tayside and Fife.

Our teams of experienced nurses work across a variety of areas including diagnostic angiography, primary angioplasty, device implantation, electrophysiology studies and trans-esophageal echocardiography. We work exceptionally close with the coronary care unit giving our staff additional

opportunities to enhances their skills; by participating in our cardiology rotation as well as developing their professional development by undertaking funded education modules/courses at either degree or masters level.

We are looking for an innovative individual to work as part of the nursing team. Interested candidates must have a willingness to develop their skills within the cardiology specialty. Ideally you should have previous post registration experience and preferably within the acute setting.

You must be registered on either Part 1 or 12 of the UK NMC Register.
