Reservations Consultant

The key responsibilities of the Reservationist are; to deal with all accommodation enquiries, to convert enquiries into bookings, to input all bookings onto the system, to confirm, amend or cancel reservations as required, and to assist the Reservations Manager, UK in maximising room sales at the highest possible average rate. You will also assist with general guest enquiries and resolve any challenges as appropriately and professionally as possible. Your experience in the hospitality space and working knowledge of property management systems will help you ensure that guests feel well attended to and aware of the options available to them.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential. You must be able to meet deadlines, have good computer skills and an excellent telephone manner including the ability to provide seamless service delivery with a nothing is too much trouble, attitude. Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills with the ability to multi-task are essential.

As such, your role will be to enhance the experience of every potential guest from the get-go, helping to ensure that all interactions with our hotels - from the moment they first make contact with us to the moment they check out - are flawless. Your role will be responsible for handling reservations for our two UK hotels, The Balmoral and Browns Hotel.
