Sales Advisor

An opportunity has arisen at our busy Penicuik branch for a full time Sales Advisor to join our team. Working as part of a team, and reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing an excellent sales service to our customers as well as contacting customers by telephone and email.,

• You will be comfortable dealing with customers in a busy retail environment and will have excellent communication skills ensuring a professional service at all times:


• Engage with and increase our customer base;


• You will have the ability to multi skill between the counter service and sales office


• You will be enthusiastic with the customers and enjoy working with them to ensure they have the best customer experience;


• You enjoy working as a team to deliver results
  
  Ideally have knowledge of building supply products


• Proactive approach in increasing our customer base


• You will have the ability to use your own initiative and will provide ideas on driving the business forward.


• An excellent team player who can also work on your own initiative

The ideal candidate must have the following:

· Full Clean UK Driving licence

· Minimum 1 years' Builders Merchant experience is desirable,
• builder merchant: 1 year (required)


• Sales: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving License (preferred)

We trade as Beatson's Building Supplies but have three other trading divisions of Beatson's Direct our ecommerce business, Beatson's Concrete our ready-mix concrete business and Skyline Roofing Supplies our specialist roofing merchant business. We employ around 140 people across our 6 sites in Alloa, Cumbernauld, Dunfermline, Penicuik, Errol & Stirling.
  
  Salary: depending on experience


Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7:30-17:00 and every second Saturday 7:30-12:00
