Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP EWM Senior Specialist to join our Logistics team at our Barony Plant, Auchinleck, East Ayrshire. This pivotal role will serve as the Key User for the UK, responsible for overseeing the SAP EWM system and ensuring its efficient and effective utilisation to address the warehouse and logistics requirements of the business., Configure, maintain, and optimise the SAP EWM system to align with the organisation's Automation and Logistics requirements.
- Provide user support, guidance, and training to personnel and end-users on SAP EWM functionalities, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement within SAP EWM operations, leveraging SAP EWM capabilities.
- Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the SAP EWM system.
- Investigate and resolve system issues, errors, and discrepancies, working closely with IT support and SAP consultants as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP EWM configurations, processes, and user guides. Generate reports to analyse system performance and KPIs.
- Assist in managing changes and updates to the SAP EWM system, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, logistics, and Production, to align SAP EWM with broader organisational objectives.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Certification in SAP EWM is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in SAP EWM configuration, implementation, and support.

Necessary Skills and Competencies
- In-depth understanding of warehouse and logistics processes, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and warehouse layout design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train, support, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Experience of Automated Warehouse systems is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing and integrating automated warehouse systems to support the SAP EWM environment.
- Familiarity with the implementation and management of Automated Warehouse systems to enhance warehouse and logistics operations.
