Job Title: Snr Account Manager

Salary: 33,000-36,000

Job Purpose:

To ensure a high level, proactive and efficient account management service is provided to clients. The post holder will be a main point of contact within the business ensuring client objectives are met and exceeded through end-to-end project management for direct marketing services.

Duties:

  • Responsible for the creation, management and development of several client accounts, acting as the face of the business to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Efficiently manage client campaigns from brief to delivery, for example, interpretating client briefs, negotiating supplier quotes and ensuring profitability of each project within business KPIs and targets.
  • Identify and brief relevant internal and external suppliers including creative, data and production through to fulfilment and distribution to execute each client project within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Propose alternative design and production routes to clients by proactively feeding back suggestions.
  • Understand postal routes and proactively apply for incentives where applicable.
  • Effectively negotiate and partake in buying activities when required.
  • Manage and coordinate existing client's direct marketing activity to agreed budgets, timescales and standards.
  • Supporting new business opportunities through quote generation and presentations to the client.
  • Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Implement reports and other analysis where necessary to support and contribute to recommending appropriate marketing strategies and improvements/cost savings.
  • Promote and honour the business's accreditations and standards, ensuring successful roll out to clients and suppliers.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to upsell the company's services to existing clients.
  • Responsible for the management and development of direct reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with business policies, procedures and guidelines, together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Engaging with the company's appraisal process, and demonstrate commitment to our values, behaviours and your continuous personal development.
  • Performing other reasonable duties and/or projects as directed by your line manager.
