Full Job Description

A prestigious structural and civil engineering company is in search of an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their Edinburgh office. With an extensive portfolio of over 700 projects annually and a global reach, the company is seeking a candidate who can offer mentorship to the current Civil Engineering team while advancing their own career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and oversight of technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Innovating engineering solutions and presenting alternative options.
  • Assisting in project resource allocation, monitoring, and budget reporting.
  • Providing technical insights for project pricing, proposals, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Progression towards or attainment of IEng/CEng accreditation.
  • Proficient technical skills, including familiarity with industry-standard road and/or drainage design software and up-to-date knowledge of design standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D essential.
  • Proficiency in Microdrainage / Infodrainage / drainage design would be advantageous.
