Job Title – Senior Civil Engineer

Our clients Civil Engineering/Development Infrastructure workload is continuing to expand, and they are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Glasgow on a permanent basis. They specialise in a variety of sectors including industrial & logistics, commercial offices, residential, and educational campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Directors/Project Directors to manage and deliver projects effectively
• Drive innovation in design processes and outputs using current software
• Undertake design and modelling of external works, roads, and drainage
• Prepare and manage project documentation including models, drawings, specifications, reports, and schedules
• Represent the company in client and design team meetings
• Mentor and guide junior staff to ensure project requirements are met
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and stakeholders

Background:

• Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in civil engineering preferred
• Minimum 8 years of engineering design experience
• Proficiency in Civil 3D preferred, familiarity with Autodesk software desired
• Experience in drainage design, ideally using Microdrainage/Infodrainage software
• Knowledge of current compliance legislation with an awareness of future legal changes
