Full Job Description

A prestigious structural and civil engineering firm seeks a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to join their Edinburgh office. With a robust portfolio of over 700 projects annually and a global presence, the company seeks a candidate who can provide mentorship to the existing Civil Engineering team while advancing in their own professional trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the creation and oversight of technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Generating innovative engineering solutions and presenting alternative options.
  • Assisting in project resource allocation, monitoring, and budget reporting.
  • Providing technical insights for project pricing, proposals, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Progression towards or attainment of IEng/CEng accreditation.
  • Proficient technical skills, including familiarity with industry-standard road and/or drainage design software and up-to-date knowledge of design standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and proficiency in Microdrainage is essential.
