Senior HR Advisor

Permanent

40-hour week Mon-Fri 8-5pm

Fife (on-site with occasional flexibility)

Salary £32k-£35kpa

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be supporting Kettle Produce Ltd in their search for a Senior HR Advisor. This is a fast-paced role and will provide the suitable candidate with exposure to a variety of elements within the business. Key duties:

 

  • Line management of HR Administrators, ensuring effective performance appraisals.
  • Assist in handling disciplinary and grievance issues, including mediation sessions as needed.
  • Review short-term absences and assist with absence reviews or appeals.
  • Manage long-term absences, liaising with HR Officer and Occupational Health Nurse as necessary.
  • Support salary and hourly paid recruitment, including interview support.
  • Maintain headcount within each department in line with requirements.
  • Support the Learning & Development strategy, including core skills and compliance training.
  • Ensure employees have access to necessary training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in business projects such as Talent Management and Change action groups.
  • Ensure accurate data maintenance in HR systems.
  • Complete departmental admin accurately and timely.
  • Lead monthly HR meetings with department managers.
  • Deputise for HR Operations & Payroll Manager and HR Business Partner as required.
  • Liaise with On-Site Labour Providers and Seasonal Worker Scheme Providers and participate in associated audits.

 

Iconic are seeking applications from candidates with:

 

  • Demonstratable experience operating at HR Advisor level.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced food manufacturing or similar environment
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible to achieve goals of the team and the wider business.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and basic software packages
  • Driving Licence and access to own transport as multi-site visits are required for this role.
