Full Job Description

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and 5 City Square, you will work part time, 30 hours per week., You will be responsible for the operation of statutory panel systems and decision-making meetings both for children who require alternative permanent care and for the foster care service. You will be responsible for maintaining an oversight of practice in this area and contributing to the improvement and development of service provision.

You will have a degree, or Post Graduate qualification in Social Work., You will have experience of partnership working, working knowledge of Children's Services legislation, policies and guidance and specifically in regards to fostering, kinship, adoption and permanence work, including fostering and permanence panels and knowledge of report writing associated with Panel work.

You will have excellent verbal and written skills, the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, with good organisational and presentation skills.

You will be prepared to work hours according to the needs of the job., Disability Confident
