Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. 

The shift pattern is Monday Friday.

The Senior Pharmacy Support Worker works closely to deliver the Primary Care Pharmacotherapy Service in ensuring a safe and effective use of medicines within GGC. You will work closely with the Senior Pharmacy Technicians to ensure the delivery of the Level 1 medication review service and aid with cost efficiency work. You will aid with the triage of hub workload and be point of contact for queries from community pharmacy and GP practice staff as well as working closely with other members of the pharmacy team within East Renfrewshire.

Experience of working with the public and good communication skills would be an advantage for this post. Good IT/ Admin and pharmacy experience would also be beneficial. A willingness to continually learn and develop are key for this post. You will be part of a very supportive team here in East Renfrewshire
