Full Job Description



We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in housebuilding to join our clients team in central Scotland. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our housebuilding projects. You will be working closely with the project teams to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time.




Responsibilities:


- Preparing and managing budgets for housebuilding projects


- Monitoring costs and ensuring that projects are completed within budget


- Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors


- Providing support to the project teams on financial matters


- Preparing monthly and quarterly reports on project finances


- Conducting cost analysis and identifying areas for cost savings


- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies




Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field


- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on housebuilding


- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes


- Excellent communication and negotiation skills


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


- Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office
