Our global renewables consultancy is growing at a phenomenal rate, they are hiring a significant number of experienced Quantity Surveyors throughout 2024. They will consider applications from candidates with 3 years plus post grad experience up to associate director level to join a dynamic team in their offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of renewable major projects across Scotland.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of cost relating to renewables major projects in alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide expert advice on cost estimation, contract administration, and procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts.
  • Utilise NEC experience to effectively navigate contracts and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
  • Lead a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Chartered status is advantageous but not essential
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in renewable energy projects, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts and relevant industry regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and project teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and delivering results.
