Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative - DGA10547

We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require 3 Senior Refuse & Recycling Operatives. You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.

You will be required to work 36 hours per week. These posts are fixed term for 10 months. This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
Duties will include:-

• Driving and Loading of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste & White Goods/Bulky vehicles.


• Ensuring collection of refuse & recycling routes on a daily basis is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures.


• Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functions

You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and have Class C, HGV License, and valid Driver CPC.
