Full Job Description

We’re partnering with a long-established Engineering Consultancy to find a Structural Design Engineer for their Inverness office.

If you've ever thought of relocating to the beautiful North of Scotland to live and work, we would love to hear from you. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building structures including distilleries, commercial, and residential builds
  • Produce detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings for construction
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and other technical documents for clients
  • Work closely with clients in office and on site to develop relationships

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in structural design
  • Proficient in the use of industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build client relationships
  • Understanding of relevant building codes and regulations
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
