Senior Systems / Infrastructure Engineer

FinTech RS are delighted to be working with a well-known MSP based in Aberdeen that is looking to bolster its team by taking on a Senior Systems/Infrastructure Engineer permanently. This position has come around due to growth within the company and will be seen as a senior member of the team who will be client-facing.

This role is an escalation point that will also design, implement, administer, and manage IT client infrastructure end to end. This will involve working with networks, servers, software, storage and managing clients. Whilst being a technical position there is the opportunity to develop a strong commercial acumen and skillset due to the client nature element of this position.

This position would be well suited to someone who has the below experience:

Create and maintain client relationships

Knowledge of Microsoft Servers & Microsoft Exchange

VMware and/or Hyper-V

Networking

Firewalls

SAN Configuration/Installation/troubleshooting

MS 365 tenancy management

Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS)

SharePoint Management & Administration
