The Role – Lift Service Engineer

Brightwork are supporting our client, a leading company in the lift industry, in their search for a skilled Lift Service Engineer based in Scotland. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience in working with various types of lifts and controller manufacturers. They must demonstrate critical thinking and creativity in problem-solving, holding a minimum qualification of NVQ3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent.

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shifts: Monday – Friday, 1/4 on call rota paid at premium rate plus overtime pay

Location: Scotland

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, Callouts, and Minor Repairs to Lifts
• Coverage across Scotland
• Nightcall duties as per rota requirements

Person Specification:

• Customer-focused with a professional demeanor
• Strong organizational skills and task prioritization abilities
• Self-motivated with a commitment to ongoing company training
• Possession of a full clean UK driving license and willingness to travel

Qualifications/Experience:

• NVQ3 (or equivalent) in Engineering Maintenance (Lift Servicing)
• Mechanical/electrical experience or relevant engineering/electrical qualifications
• In addition to the primary duties, the successful candidate may be required to undertake additional tasks commensurate with the role's nature and level.
