Setting Out Engineer

Peace Recruitment is looking for an experienced freelance Site Engineer for a project in Largs, UK. As a Setting Out Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring precise positioning of structures and equipment according to project plans and specifications. This 6-month contract offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct precise setting out of structures and equipment as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the construction process.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the project team as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in setting out engineering, preferably in flood defence or related projects.
• Proficiency in using surveying instruments and CAD software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driving license.
