Role : Shift Lead Salary : £21,242.97 per annum Contract Type : Part Time (35 hours per week) Location : Beechwood- Cupar Area North East Fife Services CTA - Apply for this role Real Life Options has been supporting people with learning disabilities and autism since 1992 to have more choice and greater control in their lives, enabling individuals to achieve their potential. In Beechwood- Cupar Area North East Fife Supported Living Services we help people with autism specific/ learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, both physical and mentally. And we are looking for a Shift Leader to help our services The Role / What you'll be doing Participating in managing the staff rota when on shift, dealing with staffing issues and ensuring appropriate levels of staffing are in place to meet the requirements of the service Providing direction and practice guidance to support workers on appropriate interventions and provide support to ensure the safety of People We Support (PWS), staff and
members of public at all times Mentoring and coaching support workers on effective support practices Allocating time per month off-rota time to complete administrative tasks Assisting with 1-2-1's/Performance Management along with the Team Coordinator and Service Manager Day to day rota management/cover Accident /Incident reporting Liaising with named Team Coordinator and external professionals Ensuring that notifications of concerns, practice issues complaints / e.g. Adult Support and Protection (ASP) are reported/forwarded to Team Coordinator/Manager Providing advice to support workers Completing Bathing/Shower competency assessments for support workers Completing Health and Safety checks Making sure that medications are up to date (signed for, relevant) Making sure that Supplement/Personal File are up to date (signed for, relevant) Supporting Plans (making sure it's up to date, signed for, relevant) Leading Key worker Attending PWS reviews and ensure PWS Appointments are completed
Participating in and support any other duties necessary for the smooth and efficient running of the service in respect of PWS, staff, professional practice or administrative procedures Participating and contribute to Multi-Disciplinary meetings Shifts include working days, evenings and weekends An enhanced Adult PVG is required for this role. Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided.
