Job Description

A well-respected building contractor with an enviable order book and spread of projects across the country.

The first job for the successful Site Manager to deliver will be a high-end fit-out contract in the Western Isles of Scotland (approximately 12 months). Accommodation and a subsistence package are included. Thereafter, the next project will be another bespoke refurbishment in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Site Manager to join a growing business who have a demonstrable record of developing and promoting from within.

Responsibilities

·       Plan and organise labour on site, including Sub Contractors.

·       Ensure all resources are used efficiently on site.

·       Keeping site records and registers up to date.

·       Keep records and maintain electronic filing system.

·       Ensure the site is a safe and tidy place to work and visit.

·       Quality Control.

·       Authorising timesheets for trades and labour.

·       Maintaining high levels of safety standards on site.

Requirements

·       Demonstrable track record of delivering High-End fit-out projects for another residential housebuilder or commercial building contractor.

·       Ideally have a joinery trade background.

·       CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid tickets.

·       Proven experience of meeting deadlines and keeping costing guidelines.
