Key responsibilities

Supervising projects from inception to completion, you'll exemplify commitment to health & safety, and ensure quality and best practice. As a Site Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to members of the project team as appropriate
  • Effectively managing any project delays
  • Ensuring dimensional controls are in place from the outset and are utilised accordingly.
  • Completing daily site diary as outlined on BIM.
  • Plan, implement and monitor site logistics.
  • The co-ordination and control of the project, including staff, labour, and sub-contractors, from the construction phase through to completion and handover to the client.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality control and quality management policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with the health & safety management system.
  • Effectively communicating with the design team to ensure the timely release of design information.
  • Build and maintain good relations with stakeholders.


Skills & Experience

As a Site Manager, you'll have either a construction related degree or be from a trade background with construction management and leadership experience, hold a valid CSCS card, be SMSTS qualified and be competent in health and safety practice with good first aid knowledge.

  • Previous experience in the Housing Industry and timber frame experience essential.
  • Experience in managing Architects, Engineers, Clients, Sub-contractors and Supply Chain.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Health & Safety - 5-day SMSTS/CSCS Black card, First Aid.
  • Programme Experience.
