Software Developer

FinTech is delighted to be working with a global market leader within an innovative and technology-driven sphere that is looking to recruit a Software Engineer for its development team.

This role is being recruited on either a hybrid basis, with days in the Aberdeen office, or fully remote. This role will work alongside an established yet growing and experienced team of developers working within a fast-paced environment delivering technical solutions to solve business needs.

Key duties:

• Develop and test new and existing industry-specific software
• Troubleshoot issues within the software and provide support to engineers
• Assist with the quoting process when required
• Act as a key member within the development team assisting with projects on an ad-hoc basis

In order to be considered candidates should have a range of skills and experience ideally covering the below:

• Experience in C# / MVC / Angular and SQL Server in a DevOps environment
• 4 years experience with software engineering
• Degree in Software Engineering, Applied Computing or other relevant degree
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels within the business
