I am working on an amazing Contentious Construction Solicitor opportunity in Edinburgh. My client is Legal500 ranked, innovative UK law firm that works with local and multinational companies, small businesses, and individuals in numerous sectors across the UK and beyond.

In this role, you will work on some of the most complex construction construction disputes in Scotland. Your will advise a wide range of clients such as contractors and sub-contractors, developers and insurers. You will not only review construction contracts but also draft pleadings, negotiate settlements and appear in Court. You will work closely with the Partners and will support junior colleagues if required.

Skills and Experience

• Solicitor qualified in Scotland with at least 2 years of PQE
• Strong background in construction disputes
• Experience in alternative forms of dispute resolution is highly desirable
• Ability to manage your own caseload
• Excellent drafting skills
• Exceptional communication skills
