Full Job Description

Responsibilities will include specialist occupational therapy assessment and interventions for individuals with severe and/or enduring mental health and supporting the multi-disciplinary duties like generic assessment and duty.

You will also be responsible for making recommendations to facilitate safe and independent living. A key role will be involvement in supporting clients with recovery through structure to their day including vocational rehabilitation, access to leisure and education and employability through individual and group work. You will be part of a small team of occupational therapists and supported by an Occupational Therapy Team Lead.

You will receive professional support and supervision from the Lead Occupational Therapist, will gain access to appropriate training and will have protected CPD time.

We are looking for a creative, innovative and experienced Occupational Therapist who is confident in his or her core skills to take up the exciting opportunity of becoming part of the multi-agency Inverclyde Community Mental Health Resource Team.

You will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative clinical style will be essential.
