Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

Shift Pattern: 37 hrs, Monday to Friday 0830 - 1630

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to work in Mental Health as part of a close multi-disciplinary team. Physiotherapy at Gartnavel Royal Hospital, one of five allied health professions on site, provides a comprehensive service to adult and older adult sectors. You will have opportunities to learn from experienced clinicians in a complex and diverse setting where service development is a key component of quality patient care. Core skills learned through CPD, supported through the Physiotherapy in Mental Health group, will be transferable and enhance your work as a therapist. The successful candidate will have experience in similar care settings and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with staff and patients.
