The shift pattern of this position is 12 hour shifts/ 365 days a year

This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotlands PVG scheme.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our Vascular Surgery team in QEUH.

You will be working as a Band 5 staff nurse providing essential nursing care to our patients with Vascular conditions in our 28 bedded ward and 7 bed annex. You will utilise a broad range of knowledge and skills in the assessment, planning and implementation of care for this patient group. Including pre and post-operative care and early rehabilitation.

A fundamental part of the role is to communicate with the Multidisciplinary team in enhancing the patient journey. You will be responsible to the Senior Charge Nurse and should be able to work on your own merit supported by the wider nursing team.

Experience in Vascular/Surgical nursing is preferred but not essential.
