Structural Design Engineer

We’re partnering with a dynamic Construction & Engineering Consultancy to find a Structural Design Engineer for their Glasgow office.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building structures and infrastructure projects
• Produce detailed calculations, specifications, and drawings for construction
• Liaise with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective
• Prepare reports, proposals, and other technical documents for clients
• Attend site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repair or modification

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in structural design
• Proficient in the use of industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Understanding of relevant building codes and regulations
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
