Supply Chain Manager

Escape Recruitment is working with a manufacturing organisation that is a world and market-leading technology business that offers state-of-the-art solutions to meet their customer's needs and has an opportunity for a Planning Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that has a full order book, investing in the site and be a part of the Leadership Team.

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading the Supply Chain Team which includes Purchasing, Planning and Logistics. They will work closely with the Managers of the three teams and develop a Supply Chain Strategy that supports the company's objectives.

The Supply Chain Manager will support the teams to execute best practices and deliver their objectives to support the wider business. There is a lot to be done from building new teams, delivering long-term commercial contracts and continually searching for better ways of working to support the wider business.

This is a hands-on role and the Supply Manager will work closely with their team to achieve success and support their internal and external colleagues.

Knowledge and experience required for the role:

• Experience working in a similar Supply Chain Management role
  Proven experience in building and developing successful cross-functional teams - planning, procurement and logistics
  A strong leader of people who has a passion for mentoring and developing team members
  Can lead, build and develop effective relationships and use these to improve performance.
  Continually seeks to identify new ideas and implement new opportunities to benefit the business
  Strong analytical and commercial skills
  Build strong working relationships with Colleagues and Suppliers
  Energetic and dynamic

There is the option for this role to be hybrid after a period of settling into the role.
