 An exciting opportunity has arisen within Community Learning and Development (CLD) for 2 x CLD Support Workers (Adult Learning) to support the development and delivery of Digital learning within the Adult Learning team in North Lanarkshire.

Working as part of the Adult Learning and wider CLD teams the post holder will ensure the delivery of community-based adult learning and support for adults from disadvantaged communities across North Lanarkshire. This involves working collaboratively with partner agencies, third sector and volunteers to provide adult learning programmes. The post holder will also monitor and evaluate services provided through effective planning.

You may will work across North Lanarkshire delivering a range of digital learning which can include the following: operation of devices, access to internet, email, creating and printing documents, social media, search engines and online safety.

You must have a minimum of SVQ 2 / SCQF Level 5 relating to a relevant discipline within Community Learning and Development and/or accredited training appropriate to the learning programme being delivered. Moderate previous experience of working within a relevant discipline of Community Learning and Development is also essential to this role.

 An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team and on your own.

The CLD Support Worker will be line managed by a CLD Worker within the locality team.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

This position is temporary until 30th April 2025.
