Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering exclusively with our key spirits manufacturing client based in Glasgow to recruit a Tax Analyst. Joining an already successful and well established tax team as part of an iconic Scottish business, the successful candidate will likely be a part or newly qualified accountant or tax specialist with experience in corporation tax.

As Tax Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimising tax strategies, and supporting the financial health of the business. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, the wider tax team and tax authorities to navigate complex tax landscapes and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Analyse financial data to identify tax planning opportunities and minimize tax liabilities.
• Assist in the implementation of tax strategies.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations, assess their impact on the business, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tax considerations into business decisions and initiatives.
• Support with wider tax matters including R&D and employment tax.

Previous Experience

The successful candidate will be part or newly qualified in accountancy or tax with a strong understanding of corporate tax. Experience with Excel and SAP would be highly beneficial. Candidates should be driven, ambitious and keen to progress their career.
