Challenge, support and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of an innovative and creative curriculum in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Education Plan and the Community Plan.

Requirements

Tha dleastanasan na dreuchd a’ gabhail a-steach Obair Riaghlaidh le clann agus/no inbhich fo dhìon, mar a tha air a shònrachadh ann an Achd Dìon Bhuidhnean So-leònte (Alba) 2007.  Feumaidh tagraichean soirbheachail airson an leithid de dhreuchdan a bhith nam ball den Sgeama Dìon Bhuidhnean So-leònte (PVG) a thaobh Obair Riaghlaidh le aon chuid no an dà bhuidheann sin mar a bhios iomchaidh, no ma tha iad mar bhall den Sgeama mar-thà, a bhith fo ùmhlachd Ùrachadh Clàr Sgeama PVG, mus urrainn do Chomhairle Siorrachd Àir an Ear tairgse obrach foirmeil sam bith a dhèanamh. 

Thoir an aire:- Bidh clàran buill PVG an-còmhnaidh air an ùrachadh le fiosrachadh sgrùdaidh ùr sam bith a thig am bàrr.  Thèid fiosrachadh sam bith a thèid fhoillseachadh air Clàr Sgeama PVG no Ùrachadh Clàr Sgeama, ma tha e iomchaidh don dreuchd a thathar a’ cur a-steach, a dheasbad leis an tagraiche mus tèid tairgse obrach foirmeil sam bith a dhèanamh.

The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants for such posts will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with either or both of these groups as appropriate, or if they are already a Scheme member, be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update, before any formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council.

Responsibilities

Commencing in August 2024*, this is a permanent full time post based at Sgoil na Coille Nuaidh, James Hamilton Primary School, Kilmarnock. The hours of work will be 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday to be worked at the direction of the Line Manager.

The full time salary for this post is between £38,655 - £48,516 per annum.
