Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern is Monday - Friday

An exciting Team Leader opportunity has arisen within Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership Complex Needs Service.

The Complex Needs Service provides a single point of access to a vulnerable, transient, and high-risk population, providing a range of medical, health and social care interventions for individuals with multiple and complex health and social care needs. The service operates using an assertive outreach approach.  

This is a new and developing model and service and as part of a management team you will be responsible for the leadership and management of an integrated team of staff who manage complex and high risk caseloads, working on an assertive outreach model and delivering care within an intra-disciplinary team working with and across multi agencies.  

You are required to be educated to Degree Level or equivalent in an appropriate health or Social Care discipline, or hold equivalent knowledge & skills experience. Relevant management and supervision experience is essential with experience of working within Homelessness and/or Complex Needs.  This post is open to both Health and Social Care employees.  Additional information about the service can be accessed in the link below:
