Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 08:00-16:00
Flexi time is applicable, and starting and finishing times are flexible.

Job Details

To provide a high quality customer-focused responsive repairs service within East Lothian Council tenancies in accordance with current legislation and best practice.

Committing to achieve best value and continually striving to improve performance in line with those specific responsive repairs objectives within the Scottish Social Housing Charter.

To ensure that the Property Maintenance service remains a viable trading entity through the efficient deployment of its resources.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Relevant HND/SVQ4 or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through previous experience including a knowledge of domestic building construction, maintenance materials and specifications and site surveying, site administration skills, as well as a broad understanding of standard forms of maintenance contracts.

Driving Licence
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
