My established and successful client has been serving customers in the Marine, Energy, and Corporate sectors. With an in-depth understanding of the unique travel requirements of these industries.

Role Profile:
The role involves supporting and maintaining internal and client-facing booking systems across multiple countries and currencies, contributing significantly to the company's digitalisation strategy by supporting new digital products. It offers opportunities for personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
The role involves system administration for various online customer booking systems, managing GDS booking scripts and smart-flows, documenting processes, onboarding new users, supporting NDC workflows, implementing technical solutions, evolving the proprietary booking platform, ensuring accurate transaction flow, diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, and managing technical supplier issues.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a technical support/corporate reservations function.
  • Working with online automation systems such as Compleat or IQCX
  • Excellent communication
  • problem-solving
  • customer service skills.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge and experience of the GDS and OBTs (Online Booking Tools) are highly desirable.
  • SVQ/National Diploma/Certificate in a business discipline preferred, with a minimum sound Higher Education.
  • Experience in dealing with BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan)/ARC (Airlines Reporting Corporation) will greatly benefit the job holder.
  • Previous experience implementing customers onto online booking technology, supporting travel technology products, or working within the Marine or Energy travel industry.
