Full Job Description

In this role, you'll support the wider global and regional service teams in Peak Scientific to ensure they have the tools and resources needed. As a knowledgeable and highly technically competent member of the Service team, the Technical Specialist will be a key contributor to service function and act as a liaison between service and the training, engineering, and manufacturing functions.

Duties will include:

  • Liaising with regional service colleagues to ensure escalations and issues are resolved in a timely manner and best practices are followed globally

  • Working closely with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure product improvements are identified, implemented and communicated effectively

  • Working in collaboration with the Global Technical Training team to manage effective delivery of training programs to internal and external customers

  • Being responsible for creating and maintaining accurate Service and Technical Bulletins as per standard operating procedures

  • Responding to technical queries and requests from regional service teams, ensuring timely resolution of support tickets


  • The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and will always endeavour to confirm all information is shared, understood and intended outcomes are met. You will also be responsible for completion of assigned activities such as Service Bulletins being released in a timely manner, and all follow up actions being completed on schedule.

    It is key that you have fault diagnosis experience and bring a methodical approach to resolving problems. Ideally, you'll have the ability to read and understand pneumatic and electrical schematics and experience of working with pressure systems would be highly advantageous.

    This is an opportunity to join our Global Service team in contributing to key projects and initiatives, as well as responding to and managing technical escalations to ensure we deliver world class technical and product support. The role will suit someone with an understanding of Engineering systems who is solutions driven and an exceptional communicator.
